Today we extended our network to Apeldoorn. Connection a few customers in the Apeldoorn area. Later on we might use this route for a redundant solutioin to Amsterdam or Enschede.

Today we opend our POP for our network in Amsterdam Nikhef! The following days we will connect a few new internet exchange. We are alsog going to adjust our aggreement with Cogent. Moving one uplink from Enschede to Amsterdam for a better region cover!

We expanded our network to Arnhem connection the Dataplace Arnhem datacenter. We have a darkfiber from our datacenter in Doetinchem straigt to Arnhem. With this expansion we are a sep closer for our own connection to Amsterdam!

Our sister company bought a datacenter in Doetinchem and offcouse this was for uw a perfect way to test our new 100gbit/s switches! So we orderd our own darkfiber cable to Doetinchem from Enschede. And we will get very soon our own darkfiber to Arnhem. Creating a perfect backbone in Gelderland! This is one of our bigger steps to go to Amsterdam!

We stared to replace our 10gbit/s switches with brand new 100gb/s switches. Upgrading every pop from 4x 10gbit to 2x 100gbit/s and posibly even more 100gbit connections. We needed this upgrade to expand our backbone capacity between the datacenter. Not all the network traffic is Internet traffic. We do a lot of replication and storage traffic for custumers.

InterDC bought a new datacenter in Enschede Marssteden. And Interracks was involved to build the network in this datacenter. Different from other datacenter is that this datacener is going to host a important intersection. Because we can go from this datacenter to Hengelo, To Enschede and in the near future to Doetinchem.

Like he has grown used to, Sinterklaas (the famous Dutch cousin of Santa Claus) was able to buy us all presents online. From his secure ISO certified steam-cloud at InterRacks Sinterklaas knows his presents won’t fall into the wrong hands. We wish everyone a joyful Sinterklaas!

Our network pop in Previder is completely redundant. We upgraded our network speeds to 2 times 40gbit/sec (One to Equinix and one to InterDC).

We added a new Transit internet line to our network. En this time it is not an connection in the Netherlands but in Dusseldorf. So even when the internet in the Netherlands fails, we still have our own connection to Dusseldorf! The transit will be done by Lumen/Centurylink.
